Jessica Killin Earns National Voting Rights Group Endorsement

The Voter Protection Project announces support for fourth-generation Coloradan and Army veteran Jessica Killin for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Voter Protection Project (VPP), the nation’s largest PAC dedicated to electing voting rights champions and holding Republicans accountable for their attacks on democracy directly at the ballot box, is endorsing Jessica Killin for Congress in Colorado’s 5th District.

“Rep. Jeff Crank has been missing in action as Trump continues to cut critical programs for veterans and move resources and jobs away from the greater Colorado Springs area,” said Heather Grevenworth, Executive Director of The Voter Protection Project. “Thankfully, we have a strong candidate in Jessica Killin who is stepping up for this community and adding CO-05 to the battleground map. ”

“I’m honored to have the support of the Voter Protection Project. It’s essential that we keep our democracy strong and ensure all eligible voters can vote, and I’m committed to protecting that fundamental right while fighting for Colorado Springs and El Paso County,” said Jessica Killin, candidate for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District.

Last cycle, VPP supported over 30 voting rights champions, including newly elected Senator Ruben Gallego (AZ), Senator Elissa Slotkin (MI), Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (OR-05), and Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19). Without a Democratic majority in Congress, Trump and his MAGA extremists will continue their relentless assault on democracy, chipping away at our most fundamental rights. That’s why VPP is laser-focused on identifying and electing fearless leaders like Jessica Killin, who will ensure every American’s sacred right to vote is protected, expanded, and never threatened.
