The Voter Protection Project announces support for fourth-generation farmer and entrepreneur Jamie Ager for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District
SACRAMENTO, CA – The Voter Protection Project (VPP), the nation’s largest PAC dedicated to electing voting rights champions and holding Republicans accountable for their attacks on democracy directly at the ballot box, is endorsing Jamie Ager for Congress in North Carolina’s 11th District.
“Jamie Ager is a known and trusted name in Western North Carolina, and he is meeting the moment by stepping up and running to represent the region he loves,” said Heather Grevenworth, Executive Director of The Voter Protection Project. “We are excited to back his candidacy and help him flip this district.”
“Our people here in the 11th District are tired of Chuck Edwards’ lack of leadership and are ready for a representative who approaches complicated questions with curiosity and compassion for our fellow humans,” said Jamie Ager, candidate for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District.
Last cycle, VPP supported more than 30 voting rights champions, including newly elected Senator Ruben Gallego (AZ), Senator Elissa Slotkin (MI), Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (OR-05), and Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19). Without a Democratic majority in Congress, Trump and his MAGA extremists will continue their relentless assault on democracy, chipping away at our most fundamental rights. That’s why VPP is laser-focused on identifying and electing fearless leaders like Jamie Ager, who will put Democrats back in control—ensuring every American’s sacred right to vote is protected, expanded, and never threatened.
